Alice Manai works with Ingenia in the field of risk assessment for pregnant workers, manual handling risk assessment and risk assessment from exposure to carcinogenic and mutagenic substances.
She holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cagliari, where she collaborated as a Chemical Engineer on two projects about mathematical modeling of CO2 storage and CO2 capture from syngas through the programming language Fortran.
She did a Master’s Degree on “Innovative membrane technologies for waste and drinking water treatment” at the University of Genova, after which she worked for the CIMA Research Foundation of Savona on several projects: Development of a methodology for the evaluation of CO2 emissions in the life cycle of the paper products; Strengthening the EU Disaster Management Capacity – Good Practices on Disaster Prevention; Development of a methodology for assessing the environmental sustainability of swine farms in the territory of Umbria Region.
